What to expect
Initial Consultation
Our first session will take 90-minutes, so that we can explore your current symptoms, overall health, previous treatments and history. The time will also include functional and orthopaedic testing and we will finish with an overview of the first 4 weeks of your plan
Body Education Session
This will be our foundation session and arguably one of the most important. During these 60-minutes, I will help you to connect with your body and guiding you through movements that will form the base structure of your Rebuild Sessions. We will also be building your confidence for any self-directed work
Rebuild Sessions
These 30-minutes sessions are spread evenly throughout the course of your treatment. They give us the opportunity to make ongoing assessments any to make any necessary adjustments to your exercise programme. They ensure optimal progression as you build strength
Check-in
Follow up sessions are offered either weekly, or bi-weekly, depending on your needs. These help to support your journey and are delivered via Zoom. They enable us to make any necessary small adjustments to your plan and track any changes that might be significant
Manual Therapy
The content of these one-hour sessions will vary depending on the desired outcome of your treatment. The sessions often include a combination of deep tissue massage, stretch techniques, mobilisations, and acupuncture
Structural Rebalancing (Fitness Goal & Injury Rehab)
Different from manual therapy sessions, this treatment requires your active participation. Here we use stronger myofascial techniques, to refresh the body’s lines of movement and to realign posture.
Pelvic Strengthening (Women's Health)
During this session we integrate breathing techniques with exercises that are specifically designed to target the pelvic floor and transverse abdominal region.
Functional Training (Chronic Pain)
Often with chronic pain, our bodies change their patterns of movement to accommodate the ailment. Functional Training Sessions are designed to re-educate your body’s movement patterns, in order to harmonise and greatly increase your mobility and regain function.
